Special Abilities

Clinging Fog (Su) A mythic omox demon may expend one use of mythic power as a free action when using its acid fog spell-like ability to replace all oxygen in the area of effect with acidic vapors. Creatures in the area of effect other than omox demons cannot breathe and must hold their breath to avoid suffocation. See the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook for rules on how long a victim can hold its breath and the consequences of suffocation.

Dissolving Slam (Ex) When a mythic omox demon hits a creature with its slam attack, it may expend one use of mythic power to give the creature's armor or shield the broken condition for 1 hour. This attack doesn't deal any damage to the object and can be reversed with a mending or similar spell. An object with any amount of acid resistance is immune to this effect.

Liquid Leap (Sp) As long as an omox demon is in contact with liquid, it can use dimension door as a swift action (CL 12th); its starting and ending points must be connected by a contiguous mass of liquid.

Nauseating Backlash (Su) When a mythic omox demon's spell resistance protects it from a mind-affecting effect, it can expend one use of mythic power to give the creature creating the mind-affecting effect the nauseated condition for 1 round.

Slime (Su) An omox demon's nauseating body is composed of sticky, acidic slime. As an attack action, it can hurl a glob of slime (range increment 20 feet). Any creature that is struck by the glob takes damage and is affected as though touching the Eldritch Sap (DC 24 Fortitude save to avoid paralysis for 1d6 minutes; even on a successful save, partial paralysis renders the victim entangled for 1d6 rounds; freedom of movement provides immunity to these effects).

Smothering (Ex) An omox demon can use its grab ability against a creature of any size. When it grabs a foe, it attempts to flow over and into the victim's mouth and nose to smother it. Each round the omox demon maintains its grapple, its victim cannot breathe or speak. See the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook for rules on how long a victim can hold its breath and the consequences of suffocation. As a free action, a mythic omox demon may expend one use of mythic power to reduce the duration the victim can holds its breath by 1d6 rounds (to a minimum of zero rounds).
